Hapeville, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-85
Hapeville, GA (May 30, 2021) – At 9:44 p.m. on the night of Saturday, May 29, a two-vehicle collision happened on a highway in Hapeville.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Virginia Avenue. One vehicle was traveling in the area when it struck the rear of another vehicle in the area. This caused extensive damages to the involved vehicles, which scattered debris all over the roadway.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time.
