Hampton, GA – Injury Accident at Hwy 20 & Dorsey Rd Intersection
Hampton, GA (March 3, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at a Hampton intersection on Thursday morning, March 3.
Authorities confirmed that the accident happened around 7:46 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 20 and Dorsey Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims sustained injuries in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Several lanes of traffic were completely blocked at the intersection for a period of time. This led to delays until police fully cleared the scene.
