Hampton, GA – Car Accident at Jonesboro Tara Blvd & McDonough Rd
Hampton, GA (July 30, 2021) – At 3:21 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 30, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Hampton.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Jonesboro Tara Boulevard and McDonough Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result. The vehicles had to be towed away from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the intersection was blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
