Hall Co, GA – Two Killed in Car Accident on Athens Hwy in Hall Co
Hall Co, GA (April 24, 2021) – Two men were killed in a head-on crash on Saturday morning, April 24, in the Hall County area.
Officers with the Hall County Police Department said that the collision happened around 2:00 a.m. At that time, a Gainesville man traveling southbound on the Athens Highway crossed the center line and collided with an SUV head-on.
The first victim, identified only as a 25-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and later died. The driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old man, was also killed. Paramedics were on the scene and appeared to treat at least one other victim, but information on other individuals involved in the collision was not released.
The accident remains under investigation, and officers are still piecing together the events leading up to the wreck.
