Grovetown, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Wrightsboro Rd
Grovetown, GA (December 9, 2021) – At 6:27 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 9, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries in Grovetown.
According to Columbia County officials, the accident happened on Wrightsboro Road around the area of the Euchee Creek Elementary School. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons in areas of heavy fog. One of the vehicles T-boned another in the side. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
