Grovetown, GA – Car Crash at Columbia Rd & S Old Belair Rd
Grovetown, GA (October 12, 2021) – At 7:41 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, October 12, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Grovetown.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Columbia Road and South Old Belair Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident and taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, one lane of traffic was blocked. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
