Glennville, GA – Woman Hospitalized After Hwy 57/Carl Kennedy Rd Semi-Truck Crash
Glennville, GA (December 26, 2021) – On Sunday, December 26, a serious truck crash occurred on a highway in Tattnall County.
Georgia State Patrol said the accident happened on Highway 57/Carl Kennedy Road, located just north of Glennville.
According to initial reports from the scene, a sedan and a semi-truck collided in the area. The car then rolled on top of its roof as a result of the impact.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and freed the woman who was driving the sedan from her vehicle.
Lt. W. Mark Riley, public information director for GSP, said her injuries were serious but not considered life-threatening. It’s unclear if the semi-truck driver sustained injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time. Police plan to provide more information about those involved in the coming days.
