Gainesville, GA – One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Collins Rd near Westmoreland Rd
Gainesville, G A (September 6, 2021) – One man has lost his life following an auto accident in White County on Saturday evening. At around 7 p.m., on September 4, the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Collins Road.
Reports from GSP indicate that a 34-year-old male from Sautee-Nacoochee was operating a motorcycle on Collins Road. For unknown reasons, he became involved in a collision just two-tenths of a mile from Westmoreland Road.
The impact of the crash sent the rider off the roadway where he was ejected from his bike. The man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
