Gainesville, GA – Four-Vehicle Crash at Cleveland Hwy & Walden Pond Rd
Gainesville, GA (August 2, 2021) – At 11:19 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 2, a four-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Gainesville.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Cleveland Highway and Walden Pond Road. Four vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The highway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
