Gainesville, GA – Car Crash at Queen City Pkwy & W Ridge Rd
Gainesville, GA (July 22, 2021) – At 6:49 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, July 22, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Gainesville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Queen City Parkway and West Ridge Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged due to the crash. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the crash, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
