Fulton Co, GA – Serious Car Crash on I-75 at Edgewood Ave Causes Injuries
Fulton Co, GA (August 25, 2021) – Around 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, August 25, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred in Fulton County, per reports from officers in the area.
The Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed that the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-75 between at least two vehicles. The accident led to injuries and blocked two of the right lanes near Edgewood Avenue.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision, where they assisted those with injuries. Any injured victims were transported to an area medical center to be treated for their injuries.
The Fulton County Police Department confirmed that lengthy backups and delays occurred in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time, and officers have not released further information about the injured victims or the events leading up to the crash.
