Fulton Co, GA – Major Car Crash Reported on I-75 NB at MLK Jr Dr
Fulton Co, GA (June 17, 2021) – Around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, June 17, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred in the Fulton County area, per reports from deputies.
Officials with the Georgia Department of Transportation and deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the accident took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75. At least three vehicles were involved in the collision, which blocked all lanes across the freeway near MLK Jr. Drive.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision where they assisted those with injuries. Any injured victims were transported to an area medical center to be treated for their injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time, and officers have not released further information about the injured victims or the events leading up to the crash.
