Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at Battlefield Pkwy & Fant Dr
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (August 21, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious two-vehicle collision that happened at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe on Sunday morning, August 21.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Fant Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and debris was left all over the roadway in the middle of the intersection.
Fort Oglethorpe paramedics and fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. EMS crews were seen treating one or more parties who were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police worked to clear the scene quickly so traffic could resume as normal.
