Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision at Battlefield Pkwy & Fant Dr
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (July 20, 2022) – Two vehicles were involved in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe on Tuesday morning, July 19.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 9:02 a.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Fant Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damage as a result of the collision.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
