Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Two-Car Accident with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (January 22, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a two-vehicle collision that took place at a Fort Oglethorpe intersection on Saturday morning, January 21.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 11:31 a.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and South Cedar Lane. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic until police cleared the scene. This led to extensive delays in the area for some time.
