Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Battefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (May 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious three-vehicle collision on a major roadway in Fort Oglethorpe.
Catoosa County officials confirmed that the accident happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, May 7, in Fort Oglethorpe. Three vehicles, including a Volkswagen minivan and a pickup truck, were traveling on the Battlefield Parkway when they suddenly collided due to unknown reasons. The minivan was struck in the rear end and sustained immense damage as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and other local responders were called to the scene so that they could help those in need. Multiple victims involved in the collision sustained injuries in the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police cleared the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
