Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (December 4, 2022) – Around noon on the afternoon of Sunday, December 4, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County responders, the accident happened around noon on the Battlefield Parkway around the area of Dyer Bridge Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a chain-reaction collision with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
