Fort Oglethorpe, GA (June 17, 2022) – Around 9 a.m. on Friday morning, June 17, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at 3040 Battlefield Parkway around the area of the local Walmart store. Several vehicles were traveling in the area of the intersection when they became involved in a chain-reaction crash. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
