Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Motorcycle Crash Leads to Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (September 21, 2022) – A motorcycle accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Fort Oglethorpe on Tuesday night, September 20.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 8:48 p.m. at 558 Battlefield Parkway. Due to reasons that are not entirely known, a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided with each other. Both of the vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person on the motorcycle, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured as a result of the crash. The injured party was rushed to the hospital for treatment, though their current condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police were able to fully clear the scene.
