Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Injury Accident on Battlefield Pkwy at Chick-Fil-A
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (September 17, 2022) – Around 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, September 17, injuries stemmed from a car accident in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened on Battlefield Parkway around the area of the local Chick-Fil-A restaurant. A silver sedan was traveling in the area when it became involved in an accident involving several other vehicles due to reasons that are not yet known. The silver sedan then jumped a curb after the collision. The involved vehicles sustained heavy damages due to the accident.
Paramedics, Catoosa County fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the crash. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked on the highway in the area for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible until the scene was cleared.
