Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Injury Accident at Battlefield Pkwy & Pkwy Dr Intersection
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (December 23, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe on the afternoon of Friday, December 23.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened in the afternoon hours at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Parkway Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time following the accident. This led to delays for some time.
