Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Four-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (December 12, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a four-vehicle collision that took place at a Fort Oglethorpe intersection on Friday afternoon, December 9.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 3:11 p.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Dietz Road. Police confirmed that four vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision in the area due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several parties were allegedly injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked for some time. This led to delays in the area until the scene was cleared.
