Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Battlefield Pkwy at South Cedar Ln Site of Injury-Causing Car Crash
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (November 18, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe on Friday night, November 18.
According to Fort Oglethorpe Police, the accident happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and South Cedar Lane. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. One of the vehicles sustained front-end damage as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
