Fort Oglethorpe, GA – Two-Vehicle Accident on Battlefield Pkwy Leads to Injuries
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (August 11, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, August 11, a two-vehicle accident occurred on a major roadway in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened on the Battlefield Parkway in front of the local Domino’s Pizza. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
