Fort Oglethorpe, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (July 16, 2021) – On Friday, July 16, a rollover accident with injuries occurred on a major highway in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened on the Battlefield Parkway around the area of Tire Discounters. Two vehicles allegedly collided in the area due to unknown reasons, causing a red vehicle to completely overturn. This led to extensive damages and debris becoming scattered all over the roadway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. Several people were hurt in the accident and taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
