Fort Oglethorpe, GA – Rollover Accident at GA-27 & GA-2 Intersection
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (November 22, 2021) – At 5:45 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, November 21, a rollover accident occurred at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-27 and GA-2. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other. One of the vehicles overturned after the collision. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
