Fort Oglethorpe, GA (May 20, 2021) – On Thursday evening, May 20, a serious rear-end crash occurred on a major highway in Fort Oglethorpe. 

According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened on the Battlefield Parkway around the area of Lafayette Road. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were rushed to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the extent of the damages, the involved vehicles were moved into the local Wendy’s parking lot. 

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
