Fort Oglethorpe, GA – Car Accident at Battlefield Pkwy & Van Cleve St
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (June 16, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 16, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of the Battlefield Parkway and Van Cleve Street. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident happened at the same time as another in the area at a local Wendy’s. This led to extensive delays in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
