Flowery Branch, GA – Tractor-Trailer Crash in NB Lanes of I-985

Flowery Branch, GA (December 28, 2021) – At 1:58 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 28, a tractor-trailer crash occurred in Flowery Branch.

According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-985 around the area of Spout Springs Road, exit 12. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the northbound lanes when it became involved in a collision with one or more passenger vehicles due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 13 as an alternate route.
