Flovilla, GA – Fatal Car Accident at GA-42 & Cenie Rd Intersection
Flovilla, GA (May 19, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, May 19, a fatal car accident took place at an intersection in Flovilla.
According to Georgia officials, the accident happened when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of GA-42 and Cenie Road. Though the exact circumstances of the collision are not yet known, the accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if any parties were injured in the accident.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a short period of time. Police urged those traveling in the area to use an alternate route until the scene was cleared.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
