Flintstone, GA – Serious Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Chattanooga Valley Rd
Flintstone, GA (January 5, 2022) – On Wednesday evening, January 5 at an unknown time, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred on a roadway in Flintstone.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened at 2718 Chattanooga Valley Road near the area of Happy Valley Road. Several pedestrians were walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a Ford Expedition that was traveling through the area. The pedestrians were identified as elderly individuals.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrians involved in the accident were severely injured and had to be hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
