Fayetteville, GA – Injury Accident at GA-54 & Banks Rd Intersection
Fayetteville, GA (November 18, 2021) – At 8:07 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 18, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Fayetteville.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-54 and Banks Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided with each other. Police confirmed that the damaged vehicles had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a lane was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
