Fayetteville, GA – Fatal Car Wreck Takes One Life on N Glynn St near Hwy 85 N
Fayetteville, GA (May 30, 2022) – A deadly multi-vehicle car crash happened in Fayetteville on Saturday, May 28.
Police stated that the incident occurred on North Glynn Street near Highway 85 North for reasons still being investigated. At least two vehicles were involved in a crash that ended in injuries and one fatality.
A woman from Soperton, age 46, was transported from the scene to Piedmont Fayette Hospital with critical injuries. She later lost her life. Her name has not been released at this time.
Two other people were hospitalized as a result of the accident. Traffic was delayed in the area for some time while authorities and other responders worked to clear the wreckage and assist the victims.
Local drivers were asked to use alternative routes of travel for the time being. Police in Fayetteville continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
