Fairburn, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in SB Lanes of I-85
Fairburn, GA (May 12, 2021) – At 6:28 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, May 12, a serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on a Fairburn highway.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Senoia Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling on slick and rainy roads when they collided with each other. These vehicles were left extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time, which led to slight delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
