Evans, GA – Car Crash at Furys Ferry Rd & Hardy McManus Rd
Evans, GA (May 6, 2021) – At 5:11 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, May 6, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Evans.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Furys Ferry Road and Hardy McManus Road. Two vehicles were entering the intersection at the same time when they collided with each other, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area until approximately 6:20 p.m.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
