Evans, GA (April 27, 2021) – Around 7:50 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, April 27, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Evans.
According to Columbia County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hereford Farm Road and Farmington Road. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were injured and transported to the hospital, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
