Ellijay, GA – Car Crash at Chatsworth Hwy & Central Way Intersection
Ellijay, GA (November 10, 2021) – At 2:41 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 10, a car crash with injuries occurred in Ellijay.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Chatsworth Highway and Central Way. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
