Ellenwood, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash Injures Several on Bouldercrest Rd
Ellenwood, GA (September 30, 2022) – Several parties sustained injuries in a car accident that happened on a major roadway in Ellenwood on Thursday, September 29.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the evening hours on Bouldercrest Road around the area of Loveless Drive near the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles sustained severe damage as a result of the accident.
Ellenwood paramedics and fire crews were called to the scene to help those in need. A total of three people throughout the vehicles were injured in the accident. The parties were treated at the scene by EMS crews but it is not known if any of them were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in all lanes for an extended period of time during rush hour. Police urged those in the area to avoid the scene until the scene was cleared.
