Ellenwood, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-675
Ellenwood, GA (August 29, 2021) – At 7:49 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, August 29, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Ellenwood.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-675 around the area of exit 5, Ellenwood Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured in the collision. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
All lanes of traffic were blocked as police put out a temporary red alert. The roadway was quickly cleared and traffic resumed as normal.
