Ellenwood, GA – Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Moreland Ave
Ellenwood, GA (March 28, 2022) – On Monday morning, March 28, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash in Ellenwood.
According to DeKalb Police, the accident happened on Moreland Avenue. A driver was traveling in the area when they suddenly made a turn in front of a motorcyclist who was also traveling through the area at the same time. This caused the motorcycle to crash, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The ride of the motorcycle, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
Police confirmed that all southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the passenger vehicle has since been charged for their role in the accident.
