Ellenwood, GA – Car Crash at Flakes Mill Rd & Scarlet O’Hara Rd
Ellenwood, GA (September 18, 2021) – At 6:47 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, September 18, a car crash with injuries occurred in Ellenwood.
According to DeKalb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Flakes Mill Road and Scarlet O’Hara Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
