Ellenwood, GA – Car Accident Leads to Injuries on I-675 Near Ellenwood Rd
Ellenwood, GA (December 14, 2021) – At 5:32 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, December 14, a car accident with injuries occurred in Ellenwood.
According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-675 around the area of Ellenwood Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles, identified as a dark gray sedan, turned around in traffic and sustained extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
