Eatonton, GA – Two Killed in Head-On Crash on Greensboro Rd NE
Eatonton, GA (January 1, 2022) – An auto accident reported on Wednesday afternoon claimed the lives of two victims in Putnam County. At around 2:15 p.m., on December 29, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Greensboro Road Northeast.
Reports from the Putnam Sheriff’s Office show that a 23-year-old female was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion south in the 600 block of Greensboro Road Northeast. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a 1989 Ford Ranger pickup truck head-on.
The driver of the Fusion and the Ranger driver, a 20-year-old male, were both fatally injured. The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
