E Point, GA – Serious Car Accident with Injuries on The Perimeter
East Point, GA (July 6, 2021) – At 6:08 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, July 6, a car accident with injuries occurred in East Point.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Washington Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
