E Point, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-85
East Point, GA (September 12, 2021) – At 1 a.m. on Sunday morning, September 12, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in East Point.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Virginia Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other on the highway. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured in the crash. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Three right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
