E Point, GA – Car Crash on The Perimeter Near Washington Rd Leads to Injuries
East Point, GA (October 26, 2021) – At 7:54 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, October 26, a car crash with injuries occurred in East Point.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Washington Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Several right lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene. Police urged those in the area to use I-85.
