E Point, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Camp Creek Pkwy
East Point, GA (June 3, 2021) – At 4:27 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, June 3, a car accident with injuries occurred in East Point.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-285 around the area of the Camp Creek Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were extensively damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
