E Dublin, GA – Teen Killed in Fatal Crash at Lovett Rd & Snellbridge Rd
East Dublin, GA (November 5, 2021) – Around 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 4, a fatal crash occurred at an intersection in East Dublin.
According to officials, the collision took place at the intersection of Lovett Road and Snellbridge Road. A Pontiac G6 was traveling south in the area when the driver stopped and went through the intersection. The Pontiac collided with a Honda Accord that was traveling west in the area. The vehicles were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 17-year-old female who was driving the Pontiac was traumatically injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old male driving the Honda was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. A 15-year-old female passenger in the Honda was also injured and hospitalized.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
