Dunwoody, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-285 Near Chamblee Dunwoody Rd
Dunwoody, GA (October 10, 2021) – At 11:28 p.m. on the night of Saturday, October 9, a car accident with injuries occurred in Dunwoody.
According to DeKalb County Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
