Dunwoody, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Leads to Injuries
Dunwoody, GA (April 10, 2021) – At 6:15 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 10, a car accident occurred on a highway in Dunwoody.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Ashford Dunwoody Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time, which led to delays for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
